Saxon Locks are a good example of a company that weren’t sure a website would add much to their business, they were already busy enough with their key cutting and lock fitting business. However since I lived practically next door they couldn’t refuse !
The tactic we adopted was to promote their higher end products, if you Google ‘security gates london’ for instance you’ll see they come 2nd (after the geographical results). The other effect of the website was to bring in business from all over London, so all in all a pretty good result !
